Another February Finish

I finished this earlier in the week, but it's been a hectic week for me, so I haven't had a chance to post it until now. I've been wanting to stitch this for a while now, but I didn't know when I was going to get to it. I thought about doing it as the heart, the rose, the bird, or the House for the Bride's Tree SAL, but it didn't feel right for any of them. Since I finished my February ornament for the SAL early in the month, I decided to do this next.

Hearts of America Learning Series by Thea Dueck of The Victoria Sampler
Stitched on off-white evenweave with the recommended flosses

I've since moved on to my March flower basket, a pattern I've stitched before for Mrs. Brave Astronaut. I liked it a lot and had almost enough leftover floss in the kit that I figured I'd go ahead and do it again rather than trying to find a new pattern.

One of these days, I need to go back to stitching larger projects, but for now, I'm enjoying working on the small ones.
